about
airhockey began in the summer of 2018 when Mel and Sebastian started writing songs in their bedroom in the Miami suburbs. What started as a two-person experiment became something bigger when Mike joined — whose parallel solo project felt like it was already coming from the same place.
The result is a sound that's big without being heavy: washy vocals layered over driving bass, infectious guitars, and faded synths. Lyrically, airhockey lives in the emotional gray area — not falling in love, not falling out, but the uncertain middle. Trust. Uncertainty. What comes after.
